The workshop's primary objective is to engage in discussions centred around the book proposal slated for submission to Routledge later this year. Titled "Routledge Handbook of Paradiplomacy," this book will represent the inaugural comprehensive compilation of existing research on paradiplomacy, defined as the active participation of subnational governments (cities and regions) in international relations. Throughout the workshop, the editors, Jorge Schiavon and Tomasz Kamiński, alongside potential contributors to the book, will deliberate on the format, content, and specific challenges inherent in the publication process. This workshop stands as a pivotal gathering, crucial for advancing the preparation of the book proposal.
