The roundtable aims to identify the main institutions responsible for maintaining security. Analyzing the role of the traditional balance of powers and new trilateral, multilateral, and multilateral institutions in the security field. The Indo-Pacific region is extremely important from a geopolitical standpoint because of power politics, new emerging Powers in this area, shifting power to the Indo-Pacific, and the world's fastest-growing economies. The great power competition between China and USA in the region has been intensifying lately due to the changes in the distribution of power. The sea trade routes, which carry almost one-third of global trade and most of the world's maritime oil trade from the Middle East, Africa, and East Asia to Europe and the US, are caught in the crossfire of many competing strategic visions. These challenges are important for shaping and functioning security architecture in the region. Additionally, there are new emerging dynamics such as AUKUS, QUAD, and other mini-lateralisms that raise questions about the usability of traditional 'hub and spoke' models.Having said that, this roundtable aims to untangle two main things;

Is there a newly emerging security order in the Indo-Pacific Region? If yes, who is leading the security order?

What are the attempts and challenges for regional powers from the region in institutionalizing the ‘Indo-Pacific’ strategy?

What is the role of multilateral institutions in security architecture? If they play a key role? Or only supplement to balance of power between powers?
