Measures play an important role in the OpenStudio ecosystem: measures provide new capabilities, enhance models, and make parametric analysis more accessible. To better address the needs of OpenStudio users, the OpenStudio team has conducted a survey to better understand how users interact with measures and is working to integrate these findings into future enhancements of the OpenStudio SDK and measures ecosystem. Members of the multi-lab OpenStudio team will present a short overview of OpenStudio measures and the role they play along with a short summary of the findings of the recently conducted user survey. The findings of the survey and suggestions from the audience will be downselected to a set of high priority items for future directions in OpenStudio measure development, and participants will break out into groups to discuss and brainstorm on ways address the item and achieve the highest impact not only for current users of OpenStudio but for future users as well and report their findings back to the larger group.
