The IBPSA-USA DEI committee seeks to introduce our work to the broader IBPSA–USA community. The proposed session will include four segments: (1) a brief history of the DEI committee and the official DEI strategic plan; (2) a summary of the results from the recently completed DEI demographic survey; (3) a walk-through of DEI materials available to the IBPSA-USA community including the extensive training materials database; (4) a question and answer session along with live discussion about developing affinity groups for IBPSA-USA.
This session is intended to provide general information to the community about the resources available to them and to communicate that IBPSA-USA is making significant effort towards incorporating DEI principles.
