No context pictures is an interactive game where teams with 3-5 people compete with each other. An image is displayed on the projector for all participants to view. The image has limited text, no preamble or reference and it consists of an error or incongruency. The team members need to discuss and find the inconsistency.
Some examples include:
• HVAC ducting plan showing fan-powered boxes in interior spaces and terminal units with reheat on the perimeter.
• Daylight results for a space showing high ASE and low sDA numbers.
Round 1 will consist of about 10-15 images. After each image is displayed, the teams get 30-60 seconds to record the answers. After the round is over, the moderator shares the answers and encourages discussion within the group.
The two teams with the highest score proceed to round two, which has the same format with an increased difficulty level. The team with the highest score in round two is declared as the winner.
