This workshop will discuss how landfill organics diversion regs/programs can lead to a push for more co-digestion at WWTPs and greater resource recovery. The workshop will cover status of organic diversion regulations in member states, co-digestion and biogas utilization program planning, greenhouse gas implications, and case studies for planning/executing co-digestion and biogas utilization projects. The target audience for this workshop will generally be utility managers and operations supervisors.

Facilitated discussion with attendees regarding perceptions, barriers, and opportunities around organics diversion, co-digestion, and resource recovery projects/programs
Brief Biography and/or Qualifications This workshop is proposed by the Residuals and Biosolids Committee and co-led by the Chair - Donnie Stallman.
Donnie has worked for Brown and Caldwell for 9 years focusing on anaerobic digestion, biosolids planning, and renewable energy projects. Master's thesis at the University of Washington was on anaerobic digestion of food waste.
