SPECTROSCOPY OF SM3+,Y3+-CODOPED CAF2 CRYSTALS FOR VISIBLE LASERS

J. DEMAIMAY, P. LOIKO, A. BENAYAD, P. CAMY, A. BRAUD

CIMAP UMR 6252, Université de Caen Normandie, France

A series of Sm3+,Y3+-codoped CaF2 crystals was grown by the Bridgman method and their spectroscopic properties were studied. The addition of “buffer” Y3+ ions breaks the Sm3+ clusters and enhances the emission intensity in the visible by an order of magnitude. Sm3+,Y3+:CaF2 is promising for orange lasers.

8:45am - 9:00am

MG-CODOPED CE:GAGG SINGLE CRYSTALS FOR HARSH RADIATION ENVIRONMENTS IN ELECTROMAGNETIC CALORIMETERS

V. KONONETS1, P. MAI1, A. NEHARI1, C. DUJARDIN1, K. LEBBOU1, L. ROUX1,2, R. GALA2,3, L. MARTINAZZOLI2, E. AUFFRAY2, I. GERASYMOV4, O. SIDLETSKIY4,5

1Institut Lumière Matière; 2CERN; 3Universita´ degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca; 4ISMA; 54ENSEMBLE3 sp. z o.o.

In this paper, the research work performed in the frame of a Horizon Europe Twin project (TWISMA) to improve the timing performance of the GAGG crystal in view of its potential use in future high-energy physics experiments is presented.

9:00am - 9:15am

OPTIMISATION DE LA CROISSANCE DU FLUOROBORATE DE CALCIUM CA5(BO3)3F(CBF) ET ÉVALUATION DE SES PROPRIÉTÉS OPTIQUES NON LINÉAIRES.

S. RAISSI1, P. LOISEAU1, P. SEGONDS2, B. BOULANGER2, J. DEBRAY2, G. AKA1

1PSL Univ. Chimie ParisTech–CNRS, Institut de Recherche de Chimie Paris,75005 Paris, France; 2Institut Néel Univ. Grenoble Alpes CNRS, 38000 Grenoble, France

9:30am - 9:45am

ELABORATION DE CERAMIQUES TRANSPARENTES MAGNETO-OPTIQUES A BASE D’OXYDE DE TERBIUM

N. KERKAD1, F. DELAUNAY1, R. BOULESTEIX1, A. MAITRE1, C. LIEBALD2, D. RYTZ2

1Univ.

9:45am - 10:00am

EPITAXIAL LINBO3 THIN FILMS WITH CONTROLLED STOICHIOMETRY

A. BARTASYTE1,2, V. ASTIE3, L. LA SPINA1, G. LARGER1,4, P. BOULET5, S. MARGUERON1, J.-M. DECAMS3

1Institut FEMTO-ST, France; 2Institut Universitaire de France; 3Annealsys, France; 4Exail, France; 5Institut Jean Lamour, France

Single crystalline quality LiNbO3 films were grown on the sapphire by means of the direct liquid injection CVD. Particular effort was done to achieve films with controlled and homogeneous Li2O composition (± 0.05 mol%) over 4 inch wafers and to grow stoichiometric films. CVD growth also assured highly homogeneous film thickness on the wafer scale.

10:00am - 10:15am

ADVANCING OPTOELECTRONICS WITH ABUNDANT ELEMENT-BASED, LOW-TEMPERATURE SYNTHESIZED LEAD-FREE PEROVSKITES

I. ELGARGOURI1, H. KADIRI1, K. NOMENYO1, R. BEN HASSEN2, G. LERONDEL1

1Université de Technologie de Troyes, France; 2Université de Tunis El Manar, Tunisie

Focused on the synthesis of eco-friendly, lead-free perovskites (SrSnO3, LaVO3) for optoelectronics, this study emphasizes advanced sol-gel techniques for improved conductivity and stability, targeting solar cells and LEDs. Our pioneering efforts aim to drive sustainable advancements in material science, making strides towards greener technologies.

10:15am - 10:30am

POLARIMETRY TO PROVE THE CONCEPT OF REVERSIBLE MECHANOCHEMISTRY IN POLYMERS CONTAINING CHIRAL MOLECULES

I. YAKUSHKO, R. WEISS, S. BOUKHRIS, B. BAGUENARD, R. SCHURHAMMER, A. CHAUMONT, D. CONSTANTIN, P. SCHAAF, L. JIERRY, S. GUY, A. BENSALAH-LEDOUX

ILM, UMR 5306, France

Using Mueller spectropolarimeter combined with a rotating sample holder, permitting smart sample/optical component configurations, we measure chirality signals (CD and CPL) in the midst of linear dichroism (LD) and birefringence (LB) 103 times greater. Thus, the CD variation of chiral probes is linked to their conformation change under stretching.
