Je présenterai les avancées récentes mais aussi les challenges et opportunités que l’optique et la photonique ouvrent.

REALTIME AND SCALABLE INTEGRATED PHOTONIC NEURAL NETWORK

Neural networks urge for parallelism, making photonics a highly promising platform. We demonstrate the first fully parallel photonic neural network using a semiconductor multimode laser, capable of bandwidths beyond 20 GHz. Finally, I will illustrate scalable photonic neural network integration based on 3D printed optical waveguide substrates.
