Anthropology in the Wild: A Panel Discussion with Anthropology Alumni

Lauryn Pregoni1, John Campell2, Danielle Galloway1, Rachel Mulroy2

1Roger Williams University, United States of America; 2Bridgewater State University, United States of America

This panel brings together three accomplished anthropology alumni who have pursued diverse career paths while applying their training in impactful ways, in conversation with Lauryn Pregoni. John Campbell, a Bridgewater State University graduate with a Master of Arts in Archaeology from Memorial University of Newfoundland, is a Principal Investigator at HDR Engineering and a Registered Professional Archaeologist. With 14 years of experience in cultural resources management and academia, he has focused on Indigenous lifeways through an ontological lens. Danielle, an Anthropology and History graduate from Roger Williams University, leverages her social sciences background in her role as People Ops & HRBP at Lyra Therapeutics, fostering people and culture through human resources. Rachel, a Bridgewater State University alumna, has championed environmental justice as an organizer and currently manages fiscal operations and facilities for Parks & Recreation. Together, these alumni offer insights into how anthropological skills shape meaningful careers across various fields.
