The Duisburg-Nord Landscape Park, a decommissioned steel mill and a true landmark of industrial culture.Industrial history, recreation, and culture all find a home on this 200-hectare site. Numerous attractions have been created here, such as a high-rope course, the diving gasometer, and a climbing garden in former ore bunkers. In the evening, the light installation by British artist Jonathan Park transforms the steelworks into a fascinating light show. Discover this unique site on a guided tour with our tour guide, or a former steelworker who can tell you from his own experience what it was like to “toil” here in the past.\n https://www.landschaftspark.de/besucherinformationen/landschaftspark/

Here at Duisburg Zoo, the well-being of the animals is our top priority. Our knowledge of the animal kingdom is constantly evolving. Providing the animals with the best possible environment and optimal conditions is an ongoing challenge. With this goal in mind, we are engaged in a continuous process of improvement. To articulate these demanding requirements in a clear and transparent manner, we have developed a mission statement. This mission statement is intended to serve as the foundation for our daily actions and to prepare our zoo for the future. In addition to animal welfare, we also focus on visitor satisfaction and ensuring that a visit to Duisburg Zoo is a lasting and memorable experience.\nhttps://zoo-duisburg.de/
