APPLICATION OF THE 5S METHODOLOGY TO IMPROVE EFFICIENCY AND QUALITY IN THE NATHALY BAKERY PRODUCTION LINE Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú Abstract- This study presents the implementation of the 5S methodology in Nathaly's Bakery, located in Cajamarca, Peru, with the aim of improving operational efficiency, reducing product waste, enhancing quality, and strengthening workplace organization. Using a pre-experimental design, techniques such as direct observation, diagnostic surveys, 5S audit checklists, and photographic records were applied. The results showed significant improvements: a 25% reduction in downtime, an 18% decrease in waste, a 57% improvement in organization and cleanliness based on the 5S checklist, and a 30% reduction in product quality complaints. Additionally, daily production increased and employee satisfaction improved. The findings suggest that the 5S methodology is an effective and low-cost tool for microenterprises in the food sector, delivering tangible benefits and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 14:18 - 14:26
Evaluation of Keycloak as an identity server versus commercial solutions in multiplatform organizational environments Universidad Tecnologica de Perú - (PE), Perú This systematic review analyzed the effectiveness of Keycloak as a centralized identity server compared to commercial solutions in organizations with multiple independent systems, evaluating benefits, challenges, and practical implementations in diverse organizational contexts. Information searches were conducted in Scopus and IEEE Xplorer databases for articles published between 2020-2025, applying PRISMA criteria and PICOC analysis to select 40 studies that addressed Keycloak implementations and comparisons with commercial solutions. Narrative synthesis organized results by specific research questions related to organizational challenges, implementation, comparison, efficiency, and application contexts. The results demonstrate that Keycloak achieves significant reductions of 40-62% in identity management time, 68% in compromised credential incidents, and 60-80% in total cost of ownership compared to commercial solutions. Its modular architecture supports standard protocols (SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0) facilitating integration with heterogeneous systems, with successful implementations from 100 to 50,000+ users in government, educational, healthcare, and enterprise sectors, maintaining response times of 200-300ms under high loads. It is concluded that Keycloak constitutes a viable and economical alternative to commercial solutions, offering equivalent functional capabilities with greater flexibility and customization, requiring careful migration planning and specialized technical expertise for successful implementations. 14:26 - 14:34
Extrinsic Motivation and Work Engagement in Textile Workshops in Gamarra, Lima, 2025 Universidad César Vallejo - (PE), Perú This study aims to promote sustainable development by contributing to decent work and economic growth, seeking full and productive employment. The research objective was to determine the relationship between extrinsic motivation and work engagement in textile workshops. The research used a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive correlational approach, and hypothetical-deductive method. The population consisted of 80,183 employees of the Gamarra Commercial Emporium, and the sample consisted of 382. Based on the results and descriptive and inferential analyses, a relationship was established between the variables extrinsic motivation and work engagement. Female entrepreneurship: Persuasion and loyalty in hotel tourism Universidad Tecnológica del Perú S.A.C. - (PE), Perú The purpose was to determine the relationship between persuasion and loyalty in a tourist hotel, considering the impact of emotions, memorable experiences and advertising, developed through female entrepreneurship. With quantitative methodology, simple correlational scope, non-experimental design and cross-section. Data collection was carried out using a Likert-type questionnaire applied to 351 guests of a tourist hotel during the year 2025, selected by simple random probability sampling. This instrument achieved high levels of reliability with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.882 for the persuasion variable and 0.912 for loyalty. Since the data did not follow a normal distribution, a non-parametric statistical test was applied. The results revealed statistically significant correlations of positive emotions (r=0.647), memorable experiences (r=0.558) and advertising (r=0.517) with loyalty, all with significance levels less than 0.001, the general association of persuasion and loyalty was 0.632, confirming the initial hypothesis. It is concluded that the use of persuasive components that generate emotional connections and authentic experiences positively influence the client’s return decision. It is recommended to implement loyalty programs with an emotional focus focused on differentiating experiences and the use of storytelling to maintain lasting relationships with visitors. 14:42 - 14:50
Impact of ISO 9001 implementation on strengthening quality management systems in Latin American companies Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú One of the main challenges in quality management in Latin America is the effective implementation of standardized systems, with ISO 9001 being a key tool for improving the competitiveness and sustainability of organizations. Therefore, a systematic literature review was conducted to analyze the impact of ISO 9001 on strengthening quality management systems (QMS) in companies in the region, identifying benefits, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. This research analyzed 29 studies obtained from databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and SciELO, using rigorous selection criteria and tools such as PRISMA to ensure process quality. The findings revealed that 65% of the publications were scientific articles, while 35% included case studies and theoretical reviews. It is concluded that ISO 9001 is essential for professionalizing quality management in Latin America, but its effectiveness depends on comprehensive implementation, senior management commitment, and public policies that promote certification. 14:50 - 14:58

The Impact of Buy Now Pay Later on Consumer Behavior: A Systematic Literature Review and Bibliometric Analysis 1Technological Institute of Costa Rica; 2Technological Institute of Costa Rica; 3Technological Institute of Costa Rica; 4Technological Institute of Costa Rica ABSTRACT- This study explores the academic landscape of Buy Now Pay Later services via a systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis. Fifty peer-reviewed articles from Scopus and Web of Science were analyzed to identify key contributors, conceptual trends, and research gaps. The results reveal a growing interest in BNPL, particularly in fintech-driven economies, following the onset of the pandemic. Topic modeling with Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) revealed two main themes: (1) the integration of BNPL into the financial ecosystem and (2) the behavioral factors that influence adoption. The findings suggest that Buy Now Pay Later reshapes consumption habits by decoupling purchases from payments, thereby increasing impulsivity and financial vulnerability. This study contributes to financial behavior theory by integrating technological, psychological, and sociodemographic factors. From a practical perspective, the study highlights the need for regulation, ethical digital marketing, and financial education to mitigate associated risks. The methodology provides a replicable framework for analyzing emerging fintech innovations and their societal implications. | ||
