Advances, Gaps, and Future Directions in Servant Leadership Research: A Systematic State-of-the-Art Review Universidad Tecnologica de Perú - (PE), Peru This state-of-the-art review systematically analyzes recent empirical literature (2020–2024) on servant leadership and its influence on task performance and related organizational behaviors. Drawing from peer-reviewed sources across disciplines and sectors, the study synthesizes methodologies, findings, and theoretical contributions, identifying servant leadership as a key driver of job satisfaction, team cohesion, innovation, and reduced turnover. The review highlights the dominance of cross-sectional and quantitative studies, the growing use of mixed methods approaches, and an emerging focus on cross-cultural and digital contexts. Despite consensus on its positive effects, important gaps remain in understanding mediating variables, long-term impacts, and applications in underrepresented regions and sectors. The article concludes by offering a research agenda centered on methodological diversity, contextual sensitivity, and the integration of servant leadership into organizational strategy, performance measurement, and sustainability practices. This review contributes to advancing the theoretical and practical understanding of servant leadership in evolving organizational environments 12:48pm - 12:56pm
Artificial intelligence in the academic elite: The use of AI in the world's top 20 universities 1Universidad de San Martín de Porres - (PE); 2Universidad César Vallejo - (PE); 3Universidad Nacional de Educación “Enrique Guzmán y Valle” (UNE) Considering that universities are considered a locus of knowledge creation and professional training for future citizens, it is essential for them to be able to optimally use artificial intelligence in their academic lives. The research aims to evaluate the aspects found in the guidelines or protocols for the use of AI at the top 20 universities in the world. We conducted qualitative research using documentary analysis. The sample consisted of the top 20 universities in the world, according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025. The results revealed the need to digitally educate students in the use of artificial intelligence, ensuring data preservation and confidentiality, and addressing ethical issues. Also, the need was found to disseminate the use of AI in the educational community, and of IAGen tools, to know and disseminate the university's AI use policies, along with topics in which AI can be used, such as: completion of course assignments, research activities, among others, as long as the teacher or the university allows its use and/or this is informed to the teacher. 12:56pm - 1:04pm
Change management and work performance in a textile company, Independence, 2025 Universidad César Vallejo - (PE), Perú This research contributes to the SDGs of decent work and economic growth and aims to determine the relationship between change management and job performance. The study used a quantitative approach, a non-experimental cross-sectional design, a correlational level, and a hypothetical-deductive method. The total population consisted of 60 employees from textile companies. The descriptive results for each grouped variable and general and specific hypothesis tests provide evidence that allows us to conclude that the change management variable is related to job performance. 1:04pm - 1:12pm
Colors of entrepreneurial success: packaging and the purchase decision in food products Universidad Tecnológica del Perú S.A.C. - (PE), Perú The colors of the packaging is a crucial element in the consumer's perception, since it has a powerful influence on the purchase decision, which is why entrepreneurs, aware of this reality, implement it in their businesses. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between packaging color and the purchase decision in food products, adopting a correlational scope, a quantitative approach, which allowed to have measurable and concise results. Also, a survey was applied to a sample of 380 female entrepreneurs, rating their answers on a Likert scale of 1- 5. Additionally, to contribute to the results, the working hypothesis was accepted to demonstrate the relationship between both variables, indicating that the color of the packaging influences the purchase decision. Mainly, cool colors (blue and green) were more prominent in a purchase, given that colors are associated with health, sustainability and trust. On the other hand, studies have shown that warm colors (red and yellow) are perceived as less healthy products and this makes it difficult for consumers to choose a food product. In conclusion, brands should understand and strategically apply colors in their packaging to improve their positioning in the market and encourage more favorable purchasing decisions. 1:12pm - 1:20pm
1:20pm - 1:28pm
Consumer perceptions of insect meal: An exploratory study in Metropolitan Lima Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú This study investigated the perceptions of consumers in Metropolitan Lima on the use of insect meal as a sustainable food alternative. Given the need for new sources of protein with low environmental impact, edible insects emerge as a viable option due to their high nutritional value and versatility. 402 people were surveyed using the validated KPEI scale, assessing dimensions such as nutrition, health, sustainability, culture, marketing and social acceptance. The results showed a positive assessment of the nutritional value of insects, although doubts remained about their health safety. Factor analysis confirmed the validity of the instrument and revealed key factors in consumer perception. It is concluded that, despite misinformation and certain cultural barriers, insect meal could be accepted if its nutritional benefits, its low environmental impact and the safe processes by which it is produced are adequately reported, highlighting the importance of consumer education. | ||
