Gender Study on the Profile of Postgraduate Innovation Candidates in Southern Tamaulipas Tecnológico Nacional de México / Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Madero A study carried out with a sample of 74 undergraduate applicants on management in a technological institution in northern Mexico showed greater interest from women, reaching a parity index of 1.39, with 69.8% being engineers. Hypothesis tests indicate that there are no significant differences between men and women for age, career, labor sector, study modality. Nor for professional profiles such as: project management, intellectual property, social responsibility, entrepreneurship or education. However, the factorial analysis shows a clear difference in the integration of components for women and men. Women present two well-separated groups of elements: the previous profiles, and the virtual or mixed study modalities. In men, the following stand out: intellectual property, social responsibility and entrepreneurship; and there is no preference in study modalities. 2:38pm - 2:46pm
Domestic workload and its relationship with the academic performance of female architecture students at a private university, Piura, Peru, 2025 Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego - (PE), Perú The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between household load and the academic performance of female architecture students at a private university in Piura, Peru. The research methodology was basic, with no alteration of any variables (non-experimental), simple correlational, and cross-sectional. The population consisted of 416 female architecture students, and the sample consisted of 200. A significant relationship (0.000) was found. This correlation is highly negative. This implies that the greater the household load, the lower the academic performance of female architecture students. 2:46pm - 2:51pm
2:51pm - 2:59pm
CE3: A University Incubator to Promote Gender Equality Entrepreneurship at the Bolivarian University of Ecuador 1Universidad Bolivariana del Ecuador; 2Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de España; 3Centro de Emprendimiento Empleabilidad y Empresas de UBE The study evaluated the CE3 policy (2024-2025) for gender equality at the Entrepreneurship Center of the Bolivarian University of Ecuador. The study found that the policy achieved nearly equal participation (51% women and 49% men, a difference of 2%), which exceeds the UNESCO threshold and reduces historical gaps by 78%. Using a mixed methodology of normative analysis, interviews, and focus groups, key barriers were identified, including evaluative biases (78%), inadequate infrastructure, and psychosocial self-disqualification (affecting 36% of rural women). Proposed solutions include dynamic teacher hiring algorithms (β = 0.85) and employability metrics. The model is aligned with SDGs 4, 5, and 10 and offers a replicable framework. However, gaps persist in technical sectors (four women versus 17 men). Institutional adaptations such as flexible schedules, breastfeeding rooms, and gender-sensitive mentoring were crucial in reversing the initial male predominance ratio (17:1 in 2024 to 5.3:1 in 2025, p < 0.001), though gaps in technical programs persist (4:17). 2:59pm - 3:07pm
Family support and its relationship with the continuity of architectural studies among young women at a private university, Piura – Peru, 2025 Universidad César Vallejo - (PE), Perú The primary purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between family support and the continued study of architecture among young women at a private university in Piura, Peru. Due to the characteristics of the research, it was basic, simple correlational, quantitative, and non-experimental. The study population consisted of 430 young women architecture students at a private university in Piura, Peru. The sample size was 204. The research participants completed two questionnaires. The main result was that family support had a significant relationship (0.000<0.050) with the continued study of architecture among young women. This correlation level was very high and positive, with a correlation coefficient of 0.948. The conclusion reached was that family support was essential for the continued study of architecture among young women at a private university in Piura, Peru. | ||
