10:48 - 10:56
Impact of Technological Innovation on Entrepreneurship in Micro and Small Enterprises: A Systematic Review of the Literature Universidad Tecnologica de Perú - (PE), Perú This research analyzed the impact of technological innovation on small and medium-sized enterprises ( SMEs ), considering its relationship with digital tools, productivity, and business competitiveness. A systematic review of 62 original articles from the WOS database of Science and Scopus from 2021 to 2025. The Prisma and PICO methods were used to select studies according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The main structural and behavioral theories that explain how SMEs adapt to technological change are identified, highlighting the role of the entrepreneur, internal processes, and environmental factors. The findings show that digital transformation drives operational efficiency, facilitates e-commerce, and promotes inclusive growth. However, significant barriers remain, such as lack of preparation, gaps in access to technologies, limited training, and limited institutional support. Likewise, methodological limitations were identified in the analyzed studies, such as small samples, cross-sectional studies, and scarce empirical evidence, which makes it difficult to generalize the results. It is concluded that for SMEs to fully take advantage of the benefits of digitalization, it is necessary to strengthen their internal capacities, improve supporting public policies, and promote broader and more in-depth research 10:56 - 11:04
Mobile application based on geolocation and Voice Assistant for private transportation of visually impaired individuals in Trujillo Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú This study presents an innovative mobile application that integrates geolocation and a voice assistant, specifically designed to improve private transportation experiences for visually impaired individuals in Trujillo, La Libertad. The main innovation lies in offering an inclusive and context-aware technological solution focused on user accessibility and autonomy. Using a quantitative, quasi-experimental design, the research evaluates the impact of this tool in three key dimensions: reduction of service request time, cost decrease, and increased user satisfaction. Results show a 36.84% reduction in average boarding time, a 33.33% decrease in service costs, and a significant improvement in user satisfaction—from deficient to excellent levels. These improvements highlight the transformative potential of accessible technology in enhancing mobility and social inclusion for visually impaired individuals. The study also emphasizes the importance of user-centered technological development, incorporating features such as voice commands and intuitive navigation to overcome traditional service access barriers. The findings support the proposed objectives and lay the groundwork for future research and development in accessible technologies, underscoring their role in building more inclusive societies. 11:12 - 11:20
Connecting Emotions and Learning: A Collaborative Approach Based on Emotional Intelligence Universidad Tecnológica del Perú S.A.C. - (PE), Perú The present research aimed to understand the relationship between emotional intelligence and collaborative learning in university students. The findings demonstrate that higher levels of emotional competencies such as emotional regulation, empathy, and interpersonal skills allow young people to learn collaboratively, which better channels learning in groups, improving academic performance and emotional well-being. However, the study also shows that the strength of this relationship varies depending on the educational context and teaching methodologies. In conclusion, fostering emotional intelligence in children and adolescents in collaborative environments is a key factor in enhancing learning processes in higher education 11:20 - 11:28
Mobile Application Based on Geolocation and Voice Assistant for the Management of Donations in the NGO Mi Canto, Cajamarca Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú Currently, non-profit organizations in regions such as Cajamarca face serious limitations to efficiently manage food, clothing and toy donations. This technological gap increases response times, raises operating costs and reduces the capacity to serve people in vulnerable situations. Leveraging the potential of mobile applications, this study contributes to informatics by demonstrating how the use of agile technologies and cloud storage can optimize logistics processes in social environments. The methodology of this research was applied quantitative approach, pre-experimental design, explanatory scope and non-probabilistic convenience sampling using a sample of 28 participants. The development was carried out in Android Studio using Java, Firebase, Flutter and Visual Studio Code, guided by the Mobile-D agile methodology. The results after the implementation of the application showed a 50.72% reduction in management time, a 78.33% reduction in costs and a 91.74% increase in the number of donations. Likewise, user satisfaction reached very high levels in all the evaluated dimensions of the post. Validation by expert judgment also confirmed the clarity, relevance and consistency of the instrument. These results highlight the effectiveness of the mobile solution developed to optimize internal processes, foster a culture of solidarity and improve interaction between users and social organizations. 11:28 - 11:36
Economic Analysis of the Competitive Capacity of the Forestry Sector in Honduras: State of the Situation 2023 1Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras - (HN); 2Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana - UNITEC - (HN) The study evaluates the competitiveness of the Honduran forestry sector through an economic and statistical analysis of the period 2013-2023. Using macroeconomic and innovative performance indicators, it examines the behavior of sectoral growth, its contribution to GDP and the evolution of the trade balance. The results show a progressive loss of competitive capacity, evidenced in the reduction of the trade surplus at the international level and the low participation of the sector in the gross domestic product. Regression analysis identified a positive relationship between innovation and sectoral performance (up to 2020), which reinforces the hypothesis that low innovation limits the sustainable growth of the sector. It is concluded that policy implementation has an impact on the sector's business performance. It is recommended to deepen the knowledge of the "Territorial Capital" of the forestry sector for the strategic implementation of sectoral policies. | ||
