Anxiety and depression in adolescents of an educational institution, Chimbote - 2025 Universidad César Vallejo - (PE), Perú Anxiety and depression are common emotional disorders in adolescence that affect students' well-being, academic performance, and social life. Early detection is essential to prevent clinical complications. This study is part of SDG 3, which seeks to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all, especially in adolescence. The objective was to determine the relationship between anxiety and depression in adolescents attending an educational institution in Chimbote in 2025. The research adopted a basic, quantitative approach and used standardized instruments, such as the Zung Anxiety Scale and a questionnaire to assess depression. The sample included 37 high school students, who completed structured surveys. The main results reveal a positive and significant relationship (r = .795, p < .001) between anxiety and depression, with low to moderate levels predominating in both disorders. It is concluded that these emotional disorders are closely related, making it essential to implement preventive measures and emotional support in school settings. 5:15pm - 5:20pm

Development of a mechatronic device for the detection and reduction of harmful gas levels in parked cars Universidad Autónoma del Caribe - (CO), Colombia This papaer presents the development of a mechatronic device designed to detect and mitigate harmful gases accumulated in parked vehicles. When exposed to heat, materials inside the vehicle can release compounds such as benzene and formaldehyde, which pose risks to human health. The system monitors these concentrations using sensors, and when specific thresholds are exceeded, it activates ventilation mechanisms, power windows, and alarms to reduce the presence of gases, thereby enhancing occupant safety. 5:25pm - 5:30pm
EMPOWERMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP AND RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES 1Universidad Surcolombiana - (CO), Colombia; 2EGADE Business School del Tecnológico de Monterrey, (MX), Mexico Empowerment and entrepreneurship are fundamental to innovation and sustainable development, fostering economic autonomy and social progress in marginalized communities, yet their interconnectedness remains underresearched. This study aims to systematically review the relationship between empowerment and entrepreneurship, identifying future research avenues and trends. A systematic review of 101 Web of Science articles was conducted, employing a four-phase protocol and bibliometric analysis using R-Bibliometrix to identify trends and co-occurrence networks. Empowerment enhances entrepreneurship through self-efficacy and resilience, particularly among women and marginalized groups. Notable trends encompass digitalization, female and social entrepreneurship, microfinance, and transformational leadership, and reveal gaps in theoretical and intersectional frameworks. This research offers a comprehensive framework for elucidating the nexus between empowerment and entrepreneurship, and advocates for research on emerging technologies, hybrid models, and inclusive policies aimed at equity and sustainability. 5:30pm - 5:35pm
From Meaningful Learning to Universal Design for Learning in Hybrid Postgraduate Education: Inclusive Innovation or Fragmented Discourse? 1Universidad César Vallejo - (PE); 2Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola - (PE) Despite the progress of hybrid education at the postgraduate level, significant challenges remain in ensuring authentic and sustainable learning experiences. This qualitative, applied, and non-experimental study aimed to analyze the extent to which meaningful learning strategies implemented in a hybrid master's course foster inclusive and contextualized pedagogy. Drawing on a sociocritical approach, data were collected through expert-validated instruments, including teacher interviews, student surveys, synchronous observations, and document analysis. While the initial findings reveal a strong teaching commitment to motivation and critical reflection, further analysis identified the emergence of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) as a pedagogical reference mentioned sporadically and lacking structured implementation. Accessibility, personalization, and equity appear partially or implicitly, with notable gaps in planning, feedback, and the intentional use of adaptive resources. The study concludes that although UDL was not an explicit component of the course design, its critical integration is essential to transforming educational practices in hybrid postgraduate programs. The research highlights the need for professional development policies, curriculum redesign, and sustained instructional support to establish genuine inclusion beyond conceptual discourse. 5:35pm - 5:40pm
HEALTH AND SAFETY AND EFFICIENCY IN A DRY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IN TRUJILLO 2024 Universidad César Vallejo, Perú The research aimed to determine the relationship between occupational health and safety and efficiency in a drywall construction company in Trujillo, 2024. An applied study was conducted with a non-experimental design, a quantitative, and a cross-sectional approach. The sample was census-based, including 100 workers working in the construction area, and a 19-question questionnaire was used: 10 to assess occupational health and safety, and 9 to measure efficiency. The results showed that 41% of workers perceive a low level of occupational health and safety, indicating a lack of adequate preventive measures. Regarding efficiency, 62% of respondents indicated deficiencies in the supervision of resource management and communication, which generate delays in project delivery. Statistical analysis using the Spearman coefficient yielded a value of 0.913, confirming the strong and positive existence of this relationship. The significance level of 0.001 confirms this relationship. It is concluded that improving occupational health and safety is essential to optimize efficiency that improving occupational health and safety is essential to optimize efficiency and contribute to company growth. 5:40pm - 5:45pm
Influence of the exchange rate on the value of urea imports in Peru (2014–2023) Universidad Tecnologica del Peru S.A.C., Perú This study examined how fluctuations in the nominal exchange rate influenced the value of urea imports in Peru during the 2014–2023 period, using the CIF price as the variable of analysis. A quantitative methodology was applied, with a correlational and longitudinal design, employing a log-log regression model based on monthly data from official sources such as SUNAT and BCRP, previously transformed. The results revealed that a 1% increase in the exchange rate is associated with an average rise of 0.89% in the value of imported urea. This relationship was amplified by global events such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the geopolitical conflict in Eastern Europe, along with internal factors like macroeconomic fragility. The analysis suggests that exchange rate behavior has a significant impact on import costs, highlighting the need to implement economic, logistical, and currency stabilization strategies in key sectors such as agriculture. Overall, these findings underscore the importance of enhancing resilience to external volatility. 5:45pm - 5:50pm

The Role of Religious Education in the Integral Formation of Women in Higher Education OR University, Panamá This study explores the impact of Jewish religious education on the integral formation of female university students, using a framework of six interconnected dimensions: spiritual development, identity construction, religious formation, personal development, academic performance, and community role. Conducted within a gender-specific faith-based institution, the research examines how structured religious studies contribute to holistic growth among young women. Employing a quantitative design, the study gathered data through a survey instrument that measured students’ self-perceived development across the six dimensions. Results indicate that Jewish religious education positively influences students’ ethical values, self-identity as Jewish women, academic motivation, personal discipline, and sense of belonging within both religious and community life. By aligning religious instruction with broader educational goals, this study demonstrates that faith-based programs, particularly in all-women institutions, can play a transformative role in fostering well-rounded, value-driven individuals. The findings support the inclusion of spiritually grounded content in university curricula to promote holistic student formation in both academic and life contexts. 5:55pm - 6:00pm
Complexity to Action: A Systemic Proposal Using CREARIE 2.0 to Transform the Management of Student Entrepreneurship Projects in a Public University 1Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería - (PE), Perú; 2Universidad Nacional Hermilo Valdizán - (PE), Perú This article explores the application of Soft Systems Methodology (SSM), developed by Peter Checkland, as a methodological approach to address the organizational complexity affecting the management of student entrepreneurship programs at the Faculty of Industrial and Systems Engineering (FIIS) of the National University of Engineering (UNI), Peru. During the diagnostic phase, CREARIE 2.0 is employed, a digital tool designed for the efficient assessment of entrepreneurial profiles, leadership styles, and key competencies. Its implementation is carried out through automated Google Forms. The research follows a mixed-methods approach, combining the qualitative analysis of SSM with the quantitative processing of data collected through CREARIE 2.0.This methodological integration is expected to optimize training processes, enhance pedagogical decision-making, and strengthen the development of entrepreneurial skills within the university ecosystem 6:00pm - 6:05pm
Social Innovation and Barriers in Access to the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Compensation Program Among Vulnerable Groups in Cangallo, Ayacucho, Peru 1Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú - (PE); 2Universidad Norbert Wiener - (PE); 3Universidad de San Martin de Porres - (PE); 4Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE); 5Universidad Privada San Juan Bautista - (PE) This study aimed to identify the facilitators and barriers affecting access to the Social Compensation Program for Liquefied Petroleum Gas among vulnerable populations in Cangallo, Ayacucho, Peru. The program seeks to enhance energy equity by supporting low-income households. A qualitative methodology was employed, incorporating in-depth interviews with key actors—local authorities, Electrocentro officials, and gas distributors—alongside focus groups with beneficiaries in two rural communities. Additional data were gathered through document analysis and direct observation. Findings show that access to the program is hindered by weak local coordination, limited institutional engagement, and poor dissemination of information regarding eligibility and procedures. Frequent changes in municipal leadership further disrupt program continuity. While users acknowledge the health and convenience benefits of gas, traditional cooking practices, lack of intercultural adaptation, and fear of rapid gas consumption inhibit broader adoption. Economic barriers also persist, as many families cannot afford an additional gas cylinder before the next voucher. Moreover, price variations and the absence of price regulation contribute to perceptions of unfairness. Despite these challenges, the general acceptance of gas as a clean and safe energy source suggests potential for improvement through better community engagement, targeted education, and policy adjustments. | ||
