Transformational Leadership and Internal Communication Strategies of the staff in the company of engineers and consultants in Callao

Yesenia Sujey Vargas Lasteros2, Carlos Luis Pérez Urrutia1, Katherine Roxana Flores-Dianderas2

1Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE); 2Universidad César Vallejo - (PE)

This study collected data using Google Forms surveys distributed to 65 employees of A&Q Engineers and Consultants. The results were presented sequentially, following an order based on correlations and frequency tables. The analysis indicated that a high percentage of employees consistently perceived a high level of transformational leadership and internal communication strategies. A significant correlation was found between transformational leadership and internal communication strategies, as well as moderate correlations between transformational leadership and the dimensions of interpersonal, intrapersonal, and assertive communication. It is recommended that the company continue to strengthen its internal communication strategies to maintain a strong market performance. Despite the positive results, limitations were identified in background research and data collection, attributable to the geographic dispersion of employees.

Analysis of Marketing Promotion and Positioning in a Distribution Company in Huancayo

Cristhian Renzo Vega Elías2, Raquelyn Rozas Zúñiga3, Katherine Roxana Flores-Dianderas1

1Universidad Señor de Sipán - (PE); 2Universidad César Vallejo - (PE); 3Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE)

This study examines the relationship between marketing promotion and the positioning of a product distribution company in the Province of Huancayo, utilizing a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. The research included a random sample of 183 customers selected from a population of 350, with inclusion criteria based on purchase frequency. Using expertvalidated surveys and reliability determined by Cronbach's Alpha, data were collected and analyzed using SPSS V.27 and Excel 2021. The results reveal that marketing promotion explains 41% of the positioning (R² = 0.410), with high statistical significance (p-value = 0.000). The obtained regression equation is Log Y = 9.333 + 0.534 X1, indicating a positive relationship between the variables. Additionally, a moderate positive correlation (Spearman's Rho = 0.681, p = 0.000) was found between marketing promotion and positioning. The dimensions of marketing promotion (advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, public relations, and direct marketing) also showed significant correlations with positioning. The findings highlight the importance of well-implemented marketing promotion strategies to improve the company's positioning. Comparisons with previous studies reveal variations in the correlation magnitude, emphasizing the relevance of context and methodology employed.

IoT devices are dominating the technology market in areas such as home, industry automation, and entertainment, among others.

Hardware companies are offering multiple options for IoT devices, that include different types of sensors such as temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, air quality, distance, speed, acceleration, and position.

Some IoT devices include electric DC motors, stepper motors, servo motors, and Hydraulic or Pneumatic actuators such as valves, pistons, and solenoids. These IoT devices are the base for enabling remote manipulation or control of equipment, monitoring of goods in warehouses, or product transportation via ground, air, or water.

Companies called IoT enablers provide the networking and communications infrastructure to support the operation of these devices. They rely on the use of IoT communication protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP), and MQTT. Some of these protocols provide high throughput, lightweight messaging between IoT nodes and servers, security, reliability, and interoperability.

This paper shows the architecture and design considerations of an IoT low-cost IoT modular and customizable system. Also presents a a market analysis of IoT devices, as well as, IoT cloud service providers.

In the current context of higher education, innovation in teaching methodologies has become essential to prepare students for the challenges of the labor market and entrepreneurship. This study aims to analyze and systematize the existing literature in the Scopus database on autonomous learning in university students during the period 2019-2024. The PRISMA 2020 method was used for the identification phase of records in the Web of Science (WoS) database during the period 2019-2023, which allowed the identification of 102,617 studies. After applying data exclusion criteria, 26 studies were selected. The bibliometric results indicate that the highest amount of scientific production occurred in 2022, with up to 8 publications, representing 31% of the total production. The literature comes from 15 countries, with Chile having a cumulative author frequency of 16. Regarding the structure of associative strength, 17 clusters were identified, with 3 prominent keywords: “higher education,” “self-regulated learning,” and “autonomous learning.” The study concludes that autonomous learning in the university context has been able to develop due to the COVID-19 context, always supported by technological and communication tools that make access to information possible. However, the guidance of the teacher is considered essential to map out an appropriate learning path.
