Design of an improvement plan applying Lean Tools in a baking company. Trujillo, 2024 Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú The main objective of the project is to develop an improvement plan for the bakery company using industrial engineering tools to reduce operating costs. The company, which specializes in the production of bread, faces several challenges that affect its profitability, such as costs due to spoilage, loss due to non-productive times, costs associated with employee absence due to paid medical leave caused by workplace accidents, over costs for raw materials, costs for unnecessary movements, and costs for disorganization in the warehouse. These problems were quantified, resulting in an annual loss of S/ 45,632. Two solution alternatives were presented, choosing alternative 2, which incorporates tools such as time studies, staff training, 5S methodology, supplier control, and a worker safety and health system (SGSST). After researching engineering standards, a simulation with Monte Carlo and ProModel was conducted, reducing annual losses to S/ 19,541.59, generating a benefit of S/ 26,090.41 and reducing the initial loss by 57.18%. The 12-month economic evaluation confirmed the feasibility and profitability of the proposal, with an NPV of S/ 50,451, an IRR of 44%, and a B/C ratio of S/ 1.50. Additionally, continuous monitoring was planned to ensure the effective implementation of the improvements and key performance indicators were defined to monitor progress. 10:58am - 11:06am
Engineering Tools to Increase Productivity in the Production Area of Alfa Industrias Alimentarias S.A.C., Trujillo 2024 Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú Se realizó un trabajo de investigación con el propósito de analizar la aplicación de herramientas de ingeniería para incrementar la productividad en el área de producción en la empresa Alfa Industrias Alimentarias S.A.C. Se utilizó el diagrama de Ishikawa, diagrama de Pareto; para luego aplicar herramientas de ingeniería, tales como Mantenimiento Preventivo, Poka Yoke, Método de Guerchet, Estudio de métodos y Capacitación interna en planta. Se determinó una pérdida económica anual de S/ 313,037.14, generadas por 5 causas raíz: falta de un plan de mantenimiento, procesos ineficientes, distribución ineficiente de planta, deficiente proceso en la cámara de polvo y falta de capacitación. Después de implementar las mejoras, se obtuvo valores aceptados, un beneficio anual de S/ 134,274.98, un VAN positivo de S/ 94,644.78, un TIR de 33% y un B/C de 4,7. Por lo tanto, se determinó que la aplicación de herramientas de ingeniería si incrementa la productividad en el área de productividad en una empresa de industria alimentaria. 11:06am - 11:14am

Brand management and its influence on commercial positioning in a customized clothing online store, Lima, 2024 Universidad César Vallejo - (PE) Research aligned with SDG 8: "Decent work and economic growth", whose objective was to determine the influence of brand management on commercial positioning (and its dimensions: positioning according to competitor, positioning according to attributes and positioning according to quality) in an online shop of personalised clothing, Lima, 2024. The methodology was quantitative approach, applied type, explanatory and descriptive level, non-experimental design and cross-sectional. The population consisted of 60 customers of the shop (finite). The study sample consisted of 60 online shop customers. The technique used was the survey. It was concluded that brand management significantly influences commercial positioning in an online custom clothing shop, Lima, 2024 (sig.=0.000, r2=0.3552). Finally, conclusions and recommendations were made. |
