Factors Predicting Female Entrepreneurship Among University Students in the Lambayeque Region, Peru 1Universidad César Vallejo; 2Universidad Tecnológica del Perú This study investigates entrepreneurial intention among female university students in Lambayeque, focusing on how various factors influence their inclination and ability to start businesses. A quantitative approach was adopted with a survey of 280 participants, analyzing factors such as the university environment, family background, socio-cultural context, personal attitude, and perceived internal control. The results indicate that the university environment and perceived internal control are significant predictors of entrepreneurial intention. Contrary to expectations, family support did not show a significant impact. A negative relationship was observed between the socio-cultural context and entrepreneurial intention, suggesting that certain cultural aspects may act as barriers. The conclusions highlight the importance of the academic environment and self-efficacy in fostering female entrepreneurship. The study challenges common perceptions about the role of family support and underscores the need to address socio-cultural barriers. Recommendations include strengthening entrepreneurial education in universities, enhancing students' self-efficacy, changing socio-cultural norms, and considering family involvement in the entrepreneurial process. 10:58am - 11:06am
This study aims to identify the civic competencies developed by students from the school municipalities of the Pachacamac District through their participation in participatory budgeting. Employing a qualitative exploratory design with a descriptive approach, the research includes an assessment questionnaire for 114 high school students who were not part of the school municipalities in 2018, along with 10 semi-structured interviews and three focus groups with students who were involved. Students described their experiences in participatory budgeting as highly rewarding, especially when their projects were selected as winners among many educational institutions. These successes brought financial capital to their schools, addressing urgent needs in infrastructure and educational equipment. However, they also faced challenges, such as delays in project execution caused by adults, despite available funding. Although students do not fully understand these issues, they are eager to continue participating in their municipality's participatory budgets, believing it essential for learning democratic and participatory practices. Participation in school municipalities has equipped students with citizenship skills that will benefit them as future responsible citizens. Their involvement in the municipal participatory budget process promotes knowledge that enables them to make better decisions as citizens and encourages democratic engagement in community development, ultimately enhancing their quality of life. 11:06am - 11:14am
11:14am - 11:22am

The first one related to change or novelty with 8 items, the second dimension on Added Value with 8 items, finally the third dimension related to types of innovation, with 12 items, but divided into incremental innovation, systematic innovation, disruptive innovation, and open innovation, each with 3 items. The assessment was through the Likert Scale of Agreement. The results show that innovation is well received by doctoral students and with greater acceptance among women as it not only improves the quality of learning, but also fosters research and the development of critical thinking among students. Advances and Innovations in Educational Network Infrastructure: A Systematic Review Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Peru The purpose of this systematic review is to identify innovations for educational network infrastructure in institutions, avoiding vulnerabilities to improve scalability among different devices. The PRISMA method was used for the selection of studies, from which 107 articles were obtained from the Scopus database. After applying the eligibility criteria, 73 articles were excluded, leaving only 34 articles included for their respective analysis. The results show that technologies such as cloud computing, blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), and mixed reality can improve educational network infrastructure by providing greater speed, bandwidth, scalability, and security. However, significant investment is required for their implementation. It is concluded that a solid and updated network infrastructure is essential to leverage the benefits of new technologies in education, enhancing pedagogical innovation and improving educational quality; however, its implementation would involve addressing technical, economic, organizational, and teaching challenges. |
