Reconstructing Ecosystems: Analysis of the Recolonization of Flora After the 2022 Fires in Pampa Caballero, Granja Porcon, Cajamarca Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú This study evaluated the vegetation recovery following the 2022 fires in Pampa Caballero, Granja Porcón, Cajamarca, using the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). Sentinel-2 satellite images corresponding to pre-fire, during-fire, and post-fire periods were analyzed. The results showed that the average NDVI significantly decreased during the fire, reflecting a considerable impact on the vegetation. However, two years later, the NDVI increased above pre-fire levels, indicating a remarkable ecosystem recovery. This regeneration highlights the resilience of vegetation in the affected area. The use of NDVI for multitemporal analysis proved to be an effective tool for monitoring post-fire regeneration, providing key information for sustainable management and conservation planning in fire-affected areas. This approach allows the identification of recovery patterns and areas that may require additional interventions to promote long-term ecosystem resilience. 12:08pm - 12:16pm
Industrial Symbiosis and Circular Production in Sustainable Cement Manufacturing: A TEMAC Approach Universidad San Francisco Xavier - (BO), Bolivia Cement production is responsible for 8% of global CO2 emissions. The scientific community is increasingly concerned about reducing these emissions and the pollution generated by industries and transportation. Although there is little specific research work in the cement sector aimed at cleaner and more sustainable production, interest in this topic is growing among scientists. To develop the work, the bibliometric review was carried out with the TEMAC Meta-Analytical Approach methodology, analyzing articles published from 2015 to 2023. Likewise, the VOSviewer software was used to identify the authors and the most cited topics in the scientific literature. As a result, an integrative model was validated and a Roadmap (ROADMAP) was developed for the reduction of CO2 in the cement industry, with the aim of achieving sustainability in the sector. The implementation of Industrial Symbiosis was proposed as a key strategy to promote cleaner and more efficient production in the use of resources. In addition, the application of digital twin technologies was explored as a fundamental part of Industry 4.0 in the cement industry supply chain, with the support of artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), the deep learning (Deep Learning) and radio frequency identification (RFID). 12:16pm - 12:24pm
Sustainability of Peru's Banana Exports through a Market and Business Diversification Strategy 1Universidad César Vallejo; 2Universidad de San Martín de Porres; 3Universidad Tecnológica del Perú; 4Universidad ESAN The main objective of the research was to analyze the sustainability of Peru's banana exports through the diversification of markets and companies. The methodology employed was a quantitative approach, based on the analysis of export data reported by SUNAT, which was organized and evaluated using the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI) to measure market and business concentration. The results showed a decrease in market HHI, from 2809 in 2014 to 1634 in 2023, indicating diversification towards more international destinations. However, in terms of businesses, a slight concentration was observed, with the HHI increasing from 459 to 551 during the same period, suggesting moderate dominance by certain companies. The conclusions emphasize that, although diversification has reduced dependence on traditional markets, there remains a need to expand into emerging markets and strengthen the participation of small and medium-sized enterprises. It is recommended to develop government policies to support these companies, improve logistical infrastructure, and promote sustainable practices that enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of Peru's banana sector. 12:24pm - 12:32pm
SDGs and Sports: Proposal for a Digital Tool with Sustainability Indicators for Social-sports Clubs 1Ingeniería en Sistemas de Información Facultad Regional Delta de la Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Argentina; 2Cátedra Abierta Latinoamericana Matilda y las Mujeres en la Ingeniería; 3Red Latinoamericana de los ODS Presentation of the work developed at BOOTCAMP LACCEI 2024: Proposal for the development of a website using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python for the visualization of a Dashboard with easily visible and identifiable KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), focused on the sustainability analysis of management processes in socio-sports organizations and the provision of after-sales services. Based on the premise that consumers are increasingly aware of the positive impact of working towards the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), all organizations require a sustainability analysis. Inadequate indicators can reflect poor internal communication, a hostile work environment, and even operational inefficiency, which negatively impacts internal functioning and generates discontent among those who interact with the institution. Socio-sports organizations have recognized that their long-term prosperity requires a genuine commitment to society and the environment. Therefore, entities that adopt sustainable practices must demonstrate this to be more competitive, positively impact the community, and strengthen their influence in the region. 12:32pm - 12:40pm
Development of a process for obtaining Ayrampo pulp (Opuntia apurimacensis) Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos - (PE), Perú The present research work proposes a process for obtaining the pulp of Ayrampo, a product that is used in the food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries, it presents antecedents with similar methods available in the literature. Critical and indispensable concepts for understanding the process of the Ayrampo pulp rich in Betalaina are shown. The research is quantitative experimental, the process and activities are presented, including photographs of the different activities, the equipment used is calibrated within the maintenance plan of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering of the National University of San Marcos and the raw materials were acquired from producers in Ayrampo, suppliers approved by certifying companies acquired the chemicals, The procedures were supervised by specialists (chemical engineers) with the support of industrial engineers. The results obtained allow us to propose a method for obtaining of ayrampo pulp guaranteeing, the safety and efficiency of obtaining the pulp with a yield of 46% not including seeds and shells 12:40pm - 12:48pm
