Analysis of User Satisfaction Regarding Service Quality Dimensions in Teleconsultations Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE) The study focused on analyzing user satisfaction regarding the dimensions of teleconsultation service quality, considering both public hospitals and private clinics. A quantitative approach was utilized, with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design, collecting data through surveys from a sample of 315 individuals. The analysis was conducted using SPSS 29 and Excel software. The results showed that the dimensions of service quality (tangible elements, reliability, responsiveness, security, and empathy) have a significant correlation with user satisfaction, with a regression model explaining 45.8% of the variance. Specifically, the study revealed that most users rated the dimensions of reliability and responsiveness positively, while security was evaluated at a medium level. Compared to international studies, a high acceptance and satisfaction with telemedicine services were observed, similar to the results obtained in Lima. However, there are still segments of the population that prefer in-person consultations, suggesting the need for a hybrid approach to maximize patient satisfaction. These findings underscore the necessity of continually improving teleconsultations to meet user expectations. In conclusion, telemedicine in Lima has proven to be an effective and wellaccepted tool by users, although challenges persist in certain areas. 10:58am - 11:06am
Proposal to improve commercial management to increase the profitability of a hotel company Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú This study focuses on developing a proposal to improve commercial management and increase the profitability of a hotel. To achieve this objective, a cross-sectional descriptive methodology was adopted, using surveys as a data collection technique applied to a sample of personnel. Initially, a diagnosis was carried out using tools such as the problem prioritization matrix, which identified the low level of profitability as the main challenge, followed by the identification of underlying causes using the Ishikawa Diagram and the Pareto Law. Furthermore, the current situation was evaluated (AS-IS) and the desired situation was designed (TO BE). Using the Value Comparison Matrix, proposals were evaluated in terms of cost, quality, ease of implementation, customer service and time, considering the proposed solution of developing one's own website. This solution is supported by a mathematical model implemented in Lingo to maximize the hotel's occupancy and profit, which shows an increase in room occupancy of 85%, compared to the current 50%, which will increase the hotel's profitability by 40.49 % to 50%, representing an improvement of 23%. The study concludes with an economic viability analysis that ensures the sustainability of the project under a Smart approach 11:06am - 11:14am
Prototype of a Parental Robot for Child Safety Universidad Católica de Santa María - (PE), Perú In today's digital age, children's exposure to electronic devices poses significant challenges in terms of safety and parental control. This article presents a solution to address these challenges through a modular and interactive device specifically designed to monitor and manage children's use of technology. This proposal combines facial recognition, real-time monitoring and a reward system to promote positive behaviors, providing constant and educational supervision. The features and advantages of this parental robot are discussed in detail, highlighting its ability to improve digital safety and parental control. Previous studies and current trends in the market for parental control technologies are reviewed, emphasizing the growing need for adaptive and effective solutions in this field. The practical implications and potential benefits of implementing this device in family and educational contexts are also explored, demonstrating how it can contribute to a safer and more responsible technology use experience for children. 11:14am - 11:22am
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE DEMOGRAPHIC BONUS IN THE HIGHER EDUCATION SECTOR. CASE OF HONDURAS (UNAH) AND COSTA RICA (UCR) Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana - UNITEC - (HN), Honduras The demographic bonus can be defined as a decrease in the growth rate of the dependent population relative to the growth rate of the productive population. As part of the demographic transition process, known as the demographic bonus, the countries considered for this study present the following: Honduras will have the largest working-age population in its history in the coming decades, ending in 2035, which is when population aging begins, increasing the number of dependents. Costa Rica shows a decline in its active population. According to a study by the University of Costa Rica (UCR), the demographic bonus ended in 2020. It will experience an aging society before the rest of Latin America. In light of the above, the enrollment utilization in the largest public universities is analyzed, and an enrollment projection for both universities is prepared based on historical data from 2014 to 2022. For UNAH, a decrease in the growth of the student population has been observed since 2019, considering that the population aging in Honduras is projected for 2035. In the case of UCR, a notable increase in enrollment is observed for the same period. 11:22am - 11:30am
Measurement of trust and distrust in the use of micrometers in rural areas of Honduras. 1Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana - UNITEC - (HN), Honduras; 2Water For People Water is one of the most important resources in the world today, it is the goal of sustainable development and is therefore one of the priorities of countries. There are several ways in which countries try to control the distribution of water and make it accessible to all. One of these ways implemented by different organizations are the micro-meters which allow to control the distribution of water in the communities. The purpose of this study is to measure the level of trust and distrust of micro-meters in rural areas of Honduras. For this purpose, an 8-question measurement instrument is proposed, where three variables are related: knowledge, trust and distrust. These variables give a perception of how the person in the community feels about the implementation of the micro-meters. In this case it was observed that the knowledge variable does not have a strong correlation with the other two variables, while the trust and distrust variables have a negative correlation. Finally, it is concluded that the micro-meters have a strong perception of trust in the rural communities where the study was conducted, however, a greater effort should be made to train users in this area. 11:30am - 11:38am
