Critical Success Factors in Research and Development Project Management: Evolution Based on a Systematic Review Instituto Científico y Tecnológico del Ejército - (PE), Perú This study examines the evolution of critical success factors in research and development project management based on a systematic literature review conducted between 1989 and 2023. The PRISMA methodology was applied, allowing the identification of 24 high-quality articles sourced from Scopus and Web of Science. The results show that these factors consistently fall into four dimensions: environmental, market, organizational, and technological. Early research focused on internal aspects such as the project manager’s role, organizational structure, and the use of formal methodologies, whereas more recent studies incorporate external factors such as public policies, risks, customer involvement, and technological maturity. This evolution reflects a shift from models centered on individual capabilities to systemic approaches in which environment, market, organization, and technology interact. The study provides an up-to-date overview that explains how these factors have changed over time and offers a solid conceptual foundation for improving management practices, guiding strategic decision-making, and strengthening technology transfer across academic, industrial, and governmental contexts. 12:56pm - 1:04pm
Entrepreneurial Education and Social Support and Their Influence on Entrepreneurial Intention, Mediated by Attitude in University Students from Chiclayo 1Universidad César Vallejo - (PE); 2Universidad Nacional de Jaén - (PE); 3Universidad Nacional Pedro Ruiz Gallo - (PE); 4Universidad Nacional de Jaén - (PE); 5Universidad Nacional de Jaén - (PE); 6Universidad Nacional de Jaén - (PE); 7Universidad César Vallejo - (PE) The study aimed to determine the influence of entrepreneurship education and social support on entrepreneurial intention among university students in Chiclayo, assessing the mediating role of entrepreneurial attitude. A quantitative explanatory design was applied using a convenience non-probability sample of 376 students, and a PLS-SEM model was estimated with five-point Likert measures for entrepreneurship education, social support, entrepreneurial attitude, and entrepreneurial intention. Results showed adequate psychometric properties (mostly loadings > 0.70, high reliability, and AVE > 0.50) and discriminant validity via the Fornell–Larcker criterion. In the structural model, entrepreneurship education exerted a positive and significant direct effect on entrepreneurial intention (B = 0.752; p < 0.001), whereas social support did not show a significant direct effect on intention (p = 0.161). However, both entrepreneurship education and social support positively and significantly influenced entrepreneurial attitude, with social support displaying a particularly strong effect. Attitude did not mediate the proposed relationships, as indirect effects were not statistically significant. It was concluded that entrepreneurial intention was primarily explained by perceived entrepreneurship education, and it was recommended to strengthen practice-oriented pedagogies and complement social support with instrumental ecosystem mechanisms (mentoring, pre-incubation, and networking), alongside future longitudinal research and the inclusion of additional TPB-related variables. 1:04pm - 1:12pm
1:12pm - 1:20pm
Quality management and its relationship with competitiveness in an agro-export company in the city of Ica, 2025 Universidad Tecnológica del Perú UTP - (PE), Perú This study analyzes quality management and its relationship with competitiveness in an agricultural export company in the city of Ica, 2025. In a globalized and highly demanding environment, the agro-industrial sector requires production capacity and quality that are decisive in ensuring access to international markets. For this reason, a quantitative, correlational, and non-experimental design approach was used. The sample consisted of 80 employees from the administrative area, who were given a structured questionnaire based on the Likert scale. The results show a positive and significant correlation between both variables, demonstrating that process management, regulatory compliance, and staff training are key elements in this context, as they are essential for increasing productivity, facilitating access to new markets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Finally, it is concluded that quality management is positively and significantly related to competitiveness in agro-export companies in Ica, 2025. 1:20pm - 1:28pm
Optimization model for the service level of a public entity through the application of simulation and Lean Manufacturing: Case study 1Universidad Continental - (PE), Perú; 2McMaster University, Canada; 3Universidad Tecnológica del Perú UTP - (PE) At the operational and customer service level, government institutions often struggle to identify bottlenecks and disorganization in their customer service processes. Therefore, a simulation model was developed, combining Lean tools such as Poka-Yoke and standardized work processes, to reduce waiting and service times and increase customer satisfaction in a municipal entity in Arequipa. The results obtained after implementing the model were achieved through a simulation using Arena software. This simulation showed an increase in the Net Promoter Score from 10.2% to 22.4%, and the average wait time in the queue was reduced from 18.2 minutes to 12.2 minutes. Based on these results, it is concluded that implementing Lean tools improves customer satisfaction by resulting in faster service and shorter wait times. Furthermore, this research is significant and could be applied to other government institutions and other areas of document management and administration within public companies. | ||
