SOLAR-POWERED PHOTOLUMINESCENT ECO-LUX BRICKS FOR PASSIVE URBAN SAFETY Universidad Tecnológica del Perú UTP - (PE), Perú The inadequate implementation of illuminated guides on public space curbs creates a sense of insecurity among pedestrians. In response, Eco-Lux solar-powered bricks were developed that incorporate photoluminescent strontium aluminate stones. This was achieved through an experimental, quantitative methodology comprising two stages: design and testing. The results demonstrated the product's viability by achieving stable illuminance for 10 hours in real conditions. Favorable thermal gain was shown during the day, making this a highly energy-efficient material. Additionally, the product passed the water absorption test, proving its effectiveness in hot, rainy, and humid areas. In terms of resistance, it proved to fulfil its intended purpose. Favorable luminance results were obtained with the Eco-Lux 1 brick under real conditions during the first three hours. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Eco-Lux brick containing 1 mm photoluminescent stones is technically viable as a passive urban signpost, providing good light performance, particularly in sunny weather conditions during the day. 2:28pm - 2:36pm
LIDERAZGO DIRECTIVO Y ESTRATEGIAS DE COMERCIALIZACIÓN EN UN ESTUDIO CONTABLE EN EL DISTRITO DE SAN BORJA (LIMA – PERU), 2025 UNIVERSIDAD CIENTIFICA DEL SUR, Perú In order to contextualize the research and attract the reader's attention, it is of utmost importance to consider that accounting firms in the current context are subject to increased competitiveness, innovation, and market positioning, which requires increasingly strategic leadership that is aware of human and technological factors. The research used a qualitative, basic approach and a case study design. A convenience sample of three executives from the institution was used. The technique used was a semi-structured interview, which was approved by three experts. Data analysis was performed using open coding with thematic analysis using Atlas.ti 25 software. The results obtained demonstrated that participatory and empathetic leadership, focused on communication and collaborative management, contributes to the implementation of business strategies. Among the main findings, it was found that there are difficulties related to internal communication, problems with change management, and a technological deficit that can disrupt strategic planning and execution. However, some progress was also identified, such as the incorporation of digital tools, regular meetings, efforts to professionalize management, etc. Finally, it was concluded that adaptive leadership, oriented toward prioritizing human relations, emphasizes the need for continuous improvement in cross-cutting aspects by managers. 2:36pm - 2:44pm
Evolution of fintech in Peru, 2010-2025 Universidad ESAN - (PE), Perú The Fintech ecosystem in Peru underwent a significant transformation between 2010 and 2025, driven by accelerated financial digitization, expanded internet access, and evolving digital usage patterns. Consequently, this study aims to analyze this evolution and determine how Fintech has influenced access to financial services, particularly payments, credit, and digital banking. A documentary and descriptive approach was employed, based on official reports, academic literature, and international studies. This approach allowed for the identification of three distinct stages: first, an initial emergence between 2010 and 2016; second, accelerated consolidation between 2017 and 2021, heavily influenced by the pandemic; and finally, since 2022, a phase of diversified expansion characterized by the sustained growth of digital solutions in the market. Furthermore, the results demonstrate that Fintech has contributed to expanding financial inclusion, optimizing service efficiency, and driving the modernization of the Peruvian financial system. However, despite these advances, structural challenges related to regulation, digital education, technological infrastructure, and access to financing persist, continuing to hinder the ecosystem's maturity and long-term sustainability. Taken together, these findings underscore the need to strengthen public policies, improve regulatory frameworks, and promote digital capabilities to consolidate the development of the Fintech sector in the country 2:44pm - 2:52pm
Gender equality and women's participation in international business in Latin America: A systematic review of the period 2020-2025. Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú Gender equality in international business is key to promoting inclusion and economic development in Latin America. This study aimed to determine the trend in gender equality in women's participation in international business in Latin America. A systematic review was conducted following the PRISMA method, considering empirical articles and reviews published between 2020 and 2025, in full text and in Spanish, Portuguese or English. The search was conducted in databases such as Google Scholar, ProQuest, Scielo, Redalyc, DOAJ, and Scopus, using terms such as “women entrepreneurs,” “gender equality,” and “international business.” Forty-two studies were selected that provided information on female participation and associated factors. The results show that the presence of women has a positive impact on innovation, digitalization, and business resilience, although barriers such as limited financing, role burdens, gaps in digital skills, and cultural stereotypes persist. It is concluded that the trend between 2020 and 2025 shows sustained growth in female participation in this area, reflected in the greater presence of women in business leadership positions and in internationalization processes. Likewise, advances in digitization, training, and education in STEM are highlighted. 2:52pm - 3:00pm
Analysis of the boarding process at the Cajamarca land terminal using ProModel software 1Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú; 2Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú; 3Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú This study analyzes the boarding process at the Cajamarca Land Terminal using a discrete-event simulation model developed in ProModel software. The research used a quantitative approach and a pre-experimental design, assessing the system’s current situation and an improvement proposal aimed at reducing waiting times in the check-in process. The results show the presence of queues and high dwell times that affect service efficiency. The improvement proposal, based on implementing a check-in system with a QR code reader, reduced service times, achieving a 34.01% decrease in the boarding process time. | ||
