2:12pm - 2:24pm
Determinants of entrepreneurial intention among engineering students in Honduras Universidad Zamorano, Honduras Entrepreneurship is a strategic driver of competitiveness and economic development in emerging economies such as Honduras. However, empirical evidence on the determinants of entrepreneurial intention (EI) among Honduran engineering students is limited. This study analyzes an explanatory model based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), integrating attitude toward entrepreneurship, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control, and incorporating entrepreneurial education as an additional exogenous variable. The sample consisted of 489 engineering students from Honduran universities. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire with 31 items on a seven-point Likert scale, based on internationally validated instruments. Internal consistency was assessed using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, with satisfactory values obtained for all constructs. Subsequently, a structural equation model was estimated to test the hypotheses. The results indicate that attitude toward entrepreneurship, perceived behavioral control, and entrepreneurial education have positive and statistically significant effects on EI. In contrast, subjective norms did not show statistical significance, evidencing a deviation from the classical TPB. This finding suggests a predominance of intrinsic and formative factors over social pressure, providing contextualized evidence for the design of university policies and strategies to promote entrepreneurship in Honduras. 2:24pm - 2:36pm
Influence of commitment and resources on export entrepreneurship and its impact on the internationalization of SMEs: Cross-cultural analysis Costa Rica-Spain 1Tecnológico de Costa Rica - (CR), Costa Rica; 2Universidad de Sevilla, España The internationalization of SMEs through export activities contributes to countries' economic growth. This research aims to determine the influence of commitment and resources on export entrepreneurship and its impact on the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through a cross-cultural analysis of Costa Rica-Spain. The study was developed quantitatively based on a non-probabilistic sample of 64 exporting SMEs. Data were collected through a structured survey, and a structural equation model in Smart PLS 4 was used for the analysis. The results revealed that export commitment positively influences the exporting company's entrepreneurship level and the resources associated with the experience. The main differences were found in the structure associated with exports. The relationship between export entrepreneurship and business performance was positive in both countries. The study contributes to the knowledge about the internationalization process of SMEs. It provides information for managers and practitioners to guide their export strategies, as well as to direct the organization's resources to improve their export performance and offers recommendations for cross-cultural comparison studies. 2:36pm - 2:48pm
Determinants of E-commerce Customer Satisfaction: The Influence of Delivery Timeliness and Order Accuracy with Trust Mediation in Santiago, Chile 1Universidad Bernardo O'Higgins; 2Universidad de San Martín de Porres; 3Universidad César Vallejo This study aimed to determine how delivery timeliness and order accuracy influenced customer satisfaction among e-commerce users in Santiago, Chile, while assessing the mediating role of customer trust. A quantitative, explanatory, non-experimental, cross-sectional design was employed. Data were gathered through an online self-administered survey using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed via partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with a final sample of 214 respondents. The measurement model exhibited adequate reliability and validity. In the structural model, delivery timeliness showed a positive and statistically significant direct effect on customer satisfaction (B = 0.131; p = 0.045), whereas order accuracy did not present a significant direct effect (B = 0.093; p = 0.073). Nevertheless, both predictors increased satisfaction through customer trust, with strong and highly significant indirect effects (timeliness: 0.266; p < 0.001; accuracy: 0.383; p < 0.001). These results supported partial mediation for timeliness and essentially full mediation for accuracy, indicating that trust was the predominant explanatory mechanism linking logistical fulfillment to satisfaction. The findings suggested that improving operational metrics alone was insufficient unless they consistently signaled reliability to strengthen trust. Practical recommendations included combining punctuality and accuracy controls with trust-building practices such as transparent tracking, proactive communication, and robust service recovery protocols, as well as encouraging future longitudinal research with broader geographic coverage. 2:48pm - 3:00pm
Reconfiguring project management: a meta-aggregative review of sustainability as a structuring axis 1Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia - (CO), Colombia; 2Universidad EAN The present study aims to analyze the evolution and conceptual configuration of sustainability as a structuring axis of project management, identifying trends, thematic cores, and theoretical shifts within the international academic literature. To this end, a systematic review was conducted following the PRISMA protocol and a PICO model adapted to management studies, complemented by a bibliometric analysis and a meta-aggregative approach aimed at integrating and reinterpreting the core constructs. A total of 765 documents published between 2000 and 2025 were analyzed, revealing an annual growth rate of 7.43%, a high level of international collaboration, and a marked acceleration in scholarly output since 2018. The co-occurrence analysis identified the articulation between project management and sustainability as the structuring core of the field, with sustainable development functioning as a bridging node, alongside the consolidation of organizational, technological, normative, sectoral, and transformational dimensions. The findings indicate that sustainability has evolved from a peripheral and predominantly environmental focus toward an integrative logic that redefines the concepts of value, success, and governance in projects. It is concluded that sustainable project management emerges as an expanding socio-technical field in which sustainability is not an ancillary attribute but a structuring principle that reconfigures decision-making, risk management, and value creation in contexts characterized by increasing complexity and uncertainty. | ||
