Integration of SDGs 5 and 8 into people management at Deli Café, Cajamarca, 2025 Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú The present study aimed to integrate Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 5 and 8 into people management at Deli Café Corporativo E.I.R.L., located in Cajamarca, in 2025. The research was conducted under a quantitative approach, using a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. Data collection was carried out through the application of a structured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale, administered to 27 employees from the administrative and human resources areas. Data processing and analysis were performed using IBM SPSS Statistics software. The results related to the general objective revealed the existence of a high and statistically significant positive relationship between the integration of SDGs 5 and 8 and people management practices (r = 0.816; p < 0.001). These findings indicate that a higher level of incorporation of gender equality and decent work principles is associated with improved organizational practices focused on labor well-being, equity, inclusion, and the strengthening of the organizational climate. Likewise, progress was identified in equal opportunities and respect for labor rights; however, neutral perceptions persist, highlighting the need to strengthen internal communication and institutional transparency. It is concluded that the integration of SDGs 5 and 8 contributes significantly to strengthening sustainable people management, promoting an organizational culture aligned with the principles of sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, and the guidelines of the 2030 Agenda. | |
