Development of Biodegradable Films from Cocoa Husk and Potato Starch for the Circular Economy in the Peruvian Rainforest Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas - (PE), Perú The project addresses the environmental problem of the accumulation of unmarketed cocoa husks in the Peruvian jungle at the Wayu company. To alleviate the problem, biodegradable films were developed from cellulose extracted from foreign cocoa husks and corn starch with the aim of promoting the circular economy. The films, made with different amounts of cellulose and glycerin, were subjected to density, humidity and performance tests. The results showed that higher cellulose content increases the density and humidity of the film, while glycerin improves flexibility and water absorption. This approach demonstrates the potential of sustainable materials from cocoa husk waste. 5:18pm - 5:26pm

A database was used with 50 articles that have information on the proposed variables, that support the central idea of our research. Currently, there are many companies that implement new technologies to improve different areas, and they optimize their functions to achieve objectives in the shortest time possible; We seek to know in what ways these influence companies and how they contribute to their decisions. The method used was PRISMA, whichallows us to carry out a systematic review of a series of articles that we chose to support our research. It was concluded that different technological methods provide a database to the organization, this allows them to have the exact and necessary information that helps them make decisions, in turnoptimizing the response time to their deliveries or queries by part of its suppliers; Therefore, we confirm that new technologies and process optimization play a very important role in different companies. 5:26pm - 5:34pm
Social Responsibility and Human Talent Management in the Provincial Municipality of Canas, Cusco 1Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú; 2Universidad Carlos III de Madrid; 3Universidad César Vallejo - (PE) This research aims to determine the relationship between human talent management and social responsibility in the Provincial Municipality of Canas, Cusco, in 2024. The study adopts an applied research approach with a quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional methodology. The population consists of 89 employees, both permanent and contracted, selected through non-probabilistic convenience sampling. Data was collected using a survey and analyzed using descriptive statistics and Spearman’s correlation test. The results indicate that 64% of employees perceive a medium level of human talent management, while 69.7% report a medium level of social responsibility. A moderate positive correlation (ρ = 0.316, p = 0.003) was found between both variables. This suggests that effective human talent management fosters an ethical, committed, and socially responsible work environment. The study highlights the need for continuous professional development and sustainable initiatives to strengthen municipal governance. 5:34pm - 5:42pm
Improving a Rainfall Simulator considering the uniformity coefficient as a key parameter Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería - (PE), Perú Rainfall simulators are fundamental tools in storm analysis under the concept of physical modeling in a defined controlled space. This article addresses the improvement of a rainfall simulator according to the uniformity coefficient criterion. Based on this, improvements were proposed for the rain simulator at the National Hydraulics Laboratory (Peru) used for storm studies. Two testing phases were evaluated. First, the flow distribution by sprinkling from a nozzle over a 17.71 m² surface was assessed, considering three different heights above this area (2.5 m, 2 m, and 1.5 m). Then, the uniformity coefficient was analyzed for each test to estimate the nozzle spacing, which was determined to be 1.2 m. The second phase involved assembling a Fulljet 1/4HH-14WSQ nozzle grid with the calculated spacing and evaluating the uniformity of the spray flow generated for the three heights tested in the first phase. The results show an 8% increase in the uniformity coefficient compared to the rain simulator with 1.5 m spacing in the laboratory. The height range that produces a uniformity coefficient greater than 75% is between 2 m and 2.5 m above the study surface. 5:42pm - 5:50pm
Evaluation of the Quality of Services in a Public Health Center in Metropolitan Lima using the SERVQUAL Model 1Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal - (PE); 2Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos - (PE); 3Universidad Nacional de Cañete - (PE) Despite the different efforts of medical and support personnel to improve the level of services, their service is deficient in all dimensions of the SERVQUAL model. This research aims to know the gaps in the quality of services of a health center in Metropolitan Lima and identify priority areas for improvement. The method used was descriptive and cross-sectional, using the SERVQUAL model as an instrument. Simple random sampling was used, obtaining a sample of 267 patients, who evaluated their experience in the service line. Service quality gaps were calculated and opportunities for improvement were analyzed using the IPA method. The gap projections were visualized using box-plot graphs. The findings show that patients are not satisfied with the services offered by the health center, the dimensions that have the greatest gap are empathy (-0.77) and reliability (-0.76), related to the long waiting time and the lack of information about the care process. The present research shows results like those obtained in Ghana, Tanzania, and Jordan, where the negative gaps are related to support processes. This highlights the indispensability of redesigning processes and making improvements in areas related to admission and information. The article highlights the importance of analyzing services using proven models to identify improvements in the health service. Ayrampo (Opuntia apurimancis) as a Natural Pigment in Lipsticks: Acceptance Evaluation and Analysis of Determinant Factors Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos - (PE) The need to use sustainable and non-toxic ingredients drives the use of ayrampo as a natural pigment. The study evaluates the use of ayrampo within cosmetics as a pigment in lipsticks, measuring its impact on consumer acceptance. Logistic regression was used for data processing to identify the key factors that showed that the components related to pigments, fragrance, and texture are the most important. In this evaluation, ayrampo (coefficient =0.18) showed an intermediate impact in sixth place, surpassed by pigment 600 (coefficient 0.59) and Orange Fragrance (coefficient =0.50). To have an indication of the results obtained, the correlation of ayrampo with other components was measured, explaining that the intermediate impact may be since it interacts at the dependency level with high correlations (0.88) with other elements such as beeswax and coconut oil, which have a low impact (coefficients=0). Machine learning techniques such as Random Forest were applied to confirm its importance, which confirmed its intermediate influence, surpassed by pigments and fragrances. The findings reveal the importance and potential of ayrampo as a sustainable natural pigment, but further research is needed with new formulations to ensure acceptance by end consumers 5:58pm - 6:06pm
Acoustic Mortar for Urban Infrastructures Based on Recycled Rubber and Rice Hulls Universidad Laica Vicente Rocafuerte de Guayaquil - (EC), Ecuador – This analysis examines the mechanical and sound characteristics of a modified mortar by including recycled rubber and rice husks as components, in order to improve sound insulation and promote sustainability in the field of urban construction. The study was carried out through an experimental method, in which various dosages of modified mortar were created and compared with a conventional mortar (MT1). Tests were carried out with the objective of evaluating compression resistance, density and noise reduction. The findings showed that the mortar with the most appropriate dosage (MR4) achieved a compressive strength of 19.32 MPa after 28 days, something similar to the performance of common mortar. Regarding sound insulation, the modified mortar managed to reduce the noise level by 7.88% (from 82,019 dB without coverage to 75,553 dB with modified mortar), evidencing its effectiveness in sound absorption. The use of statistical techniques, such as ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis, corroborated significant variations in sound performance between samples, highlighting the effectiveness of the recycled mortar. Finally, the inclusion of recycled rubber and rice husk not only enhances the sound characteristics of the mortar, but also provides a sustainable solution by reducing solid waste and CO2 emissions. This modified mortar is presented as an ecological, viable option for urban construction, in line with contemporary trends towards a circular economy and constructions that are more friendly to the natural environment |
