Evolution and Trends in Reverse Logistics of Exported Electronic Products: A Bibliometric Analysis 1Universidad Católica del Norte - (CL); 2Universidad Ecotec - (EC); 3Universidad de Guayaquil Reverse logistics has become an essential component of sustainable supply chains, especially in managing exported electronic products. This study presents a bibliometric analysis of the evolution and trends in reverse logistics for exported electronic products, identifying key research areas, influential authors, and emerging topics. Using scientific databases, bibliometric techniques are applied to analyze citation impact, collaboration networks, and thematic evolution. The results reveal a growing academic interest in environmental sustainability, circular economy, and regulatory frameworks influencing reverse logistics practices. This study contributes to understanding the current research landscape and highlights future directions for enhancing efficiency and sustainability in global trade. This research addresses the determining factors in the reverse logistics of exported products: towards efficient and sustainable management. The problem of the study lies in the inefficiency of sustainable management in the LI. The general objective is to analyze the factors that influence reverse logistics in the export of electronic devices, with the aim of improving efficient and sustainable management flows. A non-experimental methodological design with a mixed approach with a relational design was used. This allowed us to obtain a relationship between the two variables of the study, through the application of the ANP multicriteria technique, using the interview as a data collection instrument, in which participants participated. professionals and experts in the area, who qualified using the Saaty scale, and then entered all the information collected into the SuperDecisions program. 3:08pm - 3:16pm
Supply Chain Management Strategies to Enhance Competitiveness and Foster Innovation through Cost Reduction in the Supply Chain Universidad Tecnológica del Perú UTP - (PE), Perú A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted to analyze strategies and technologies employed in supply chain management to enhance competitiveness and foster innovation in industrial companies. After screening 349 records, 40 relevant articles published between 2019 and 2024 were selected for analysis. The review identified key findings, including a constant increase in research on supply chain management, with Asia, particularly China, leading in publication volume. Common issues such as low competitiveness and productivity were found to impact operational efficiency, with advanced technologies, process standardization, strategic alliances, and continuous staff training highlighted as crucial interventions for improving competitiveness. The study concludes that managing and innovating within the supply chain is vital for enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of industrial companies. 3:16pm - 3:24pm
Maritime transport challenges in Latin America's international trade during the period 2010-2023: a literature review 1Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas - (PE), Perú; 2Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas - (PE), Perú; 3Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas - (PE), Perú; 4Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas - (PE), Perú; 5Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas - (PE), Perú; 6Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas - (PE), Perú; 7Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas - (PE), Perú Maritime transport is fundamental in Latin America's international trade, facilitating the movement of goods and strengthening regional economies. However, port infrastructure faces significant challenges that limit its competitiveness in the global market. Problems such as the lack of technological modernization and sustainability have complicated the flow of exports, forcing countries to improve logistics efficiency. Despite progress, Latin American ports still account for a limited fraction of global maritime trade. This study, with a qualitative approach and PRISMA methodology, focuses on examining the challenges faced by maritime transport in Latin America's international trade during the period 2010-2023. The specific objectives cover the analysis of port infrastructure, progress in applied technologies and sustainability challenges in the main ports of Brazil, Chile and Colombia 3:24pm - 3:32pm
Influence of the logistics chain on customer satisfaction in Asian digital platforms 2018-2023: literature review Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas - (PE), Perú Proper supply chain management is relevant to achieving and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This article with a qualitative approach and with PRISMA methodology seeks to analyze the influence of the supply chain on customer satisfaction on Asian digital platforms in China, India and Japan 3:32pm - 3:40pm
Optimization of Reception Dwell Time through Lean Manufacturing: A Case Study in a Logistics SME in Peru Universidad de Lima - (PE), Perú The logistics industry faces significant challenges in managing product dwell time in warehouse reception areas. Delays in receiving and processing goods lead to inefficiencies and reduced productivity. Previous studies have demonstrated the benefits of Lean Manufacturing tools like 5S and Standardized Work in various sectors, but there remains a gap in their application to logistics reception areas. This research addresses these issues by proposing a model to reduce product dwell time. The main challenges include prolonged product separation, errors in pallet placement, and inaccurate data entry. These inefficiencies necessitate the urgent application of Lean tools to streamline processes and improve workflow. The study's key findings show a 50% reduction in dwell time, a significant boost in productivity, and a reduction in operational errors. These improvements validate the proposed model in real-world logistics setting. This research contributes to the literature by adapting Lean tools to logistics, with measurable results in cost reduction and increased operational efficiency, offering a foundation for further research in similar contexts. 3:40pm - 3:48pm
Transformation of Logistics in the Retail Sector through Industry 4.0: A Systematic Review Universidad Tecnológica del Perú UTP - (PE), Perú This systematic literature review examines the impact of Industry 4.0 technologies on logistics processes in the retail sector. Using the PICO approach, specific research questions were formulated, and 29 relevant studies were identified in the Scopus database. The analysis reveals how advanced tools such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, RFID, Big Data, robotics, and artificial intelligence are transforming logistics management, enhancing operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business competitiveness. Among the key findings, China stands out as the leader in implementing these technologies, with a strong focus on supply chain transparency and traceability. The areas with the highest adoption of these tools are warehouse management and distribution, where technological integration has optimized resource utilization, reduced costs, and minimized risks, such as product counterfeiting. Key technologies like Blockchain and RFID have proven fundamental in ensuring product traceability and improving logistics operations. The study concludes that the adoption of Industry 4.0 is essential for retail companies to navigate the challenges of a dynamic and constantly evolving market. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of continued research and development to maximize the benefits of these technologies and meet global market demands. Ultimately, this research demonstrates that digital transformation can redefine logistics operations, establishing itself as a key strategy for strengthening the sector's competitiveness. |
