Visionary: A Tool for Managing Institutional Objectives

Sócrates Másquez Monteza1, Richard Gamboa Ahuite1, Carlos Quinto Huamán2, Martin Johnson Tuanama1, Percy Fortunato Ochoa Castillo1

1Instituto Científico y Tecnológico del Ejército - (PE), Perú; 2Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE)

The Institutional Strategic Plan (PEI) is an essential tool for the planning and management of objectives at the state level, aimed at improving the efficiency of public institutions. In this context, the Peruvian Army faces significant challenges in managing its strategic goals, which has driven the development of specialized software to optimize this process. Visionary is a solution designed to manage physical and financial goals, while also facilitating interdepartmental communication and optimizing decision-making. The system offers multiple benefits, such as the automatic generation of reports, a chat feature with artificial intelligence functions, and an interactive dashboard that allows real-time visualization of objective progress.

The proposal incorporates surveys based on the Likert scale, targeted at high-ranking officials and administrative personnel, to evaluate the software’s effectiveness. Its implementation at the Scientific and Technological Institute of the Army (ICTE) has demonstrated that Visionary is a modular and scalable system. The results showed that the tool enhances resource optimization and operational execution, significantly contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives. However, areas such as logistics were identified as having a lower impact, suggesting the need for specific adjustments to boost its effectiveness across all sectors.

Robotic Processes to Automate the Order and Order Assignment Procedure in Logistics Areas

Luis Enrique Acosta Medina, Ester Alarcon Ayquipa

Universidad Científica del Sur, Perú

Abstract- RPA, also known as robotic processes, are part of the branch of artificial intelligence (AI). They are used to automate tasks or actions performed by users, which are copied using algorithms and executed without user intervention. For this research, the main objective was to apply robotic processes (RPA) to automate the order and order assignment procedure in the logistics area of Dinet S.A Lima. This was based on a pre-experimental design with a quantitative approach and because it was of an Applied type, it used weekly reports of the assignment of orders and orders which took daily productivity as a population over the course of 1 year and as a sample for an initial analysis. pre-test and post-test a total range of 60 days. Where validity and reliability were applied. Likewise, statistical methods were used to test the hypothesis with Wilcoxon and the T test, where the results showed a level of significance equal to 0.000, being less than 0.05 for the dependent variable and in its dimensions where it was demonstrated that the application of processes Robotics (RPA) improves the order and order assignment procedure in the logistics area of Dinet S.A Lima.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) has emerged as a transformative technology in enterprise reporting management, significantly improving operational efficiency and data accuracy. This systematic literature review aims to analyze the impact of Robotic Process Automation on the recurring generation of reports within administrative areas, with the purpose of evaluating how RPA can reduce human error rates and increase productivity compared to traditional methods. For this purpose, 324 articles were reviewed using the PRISMA automation in business management. methodology, selecting those that meet specific inclusion and exclusion criteria relevant to this study. The results obtained from the reviewed publications indicate that the implementation of Robotic Process Automation reduces human error and increases productivity in report generation, with improvements in data consistency and accuracy. Additionally, the importance of adequate training for employees interacting with RPA systems is highlighted, ensuring a smooth transition from manual processes and optimizing return on investment. Finally, it is concluded that although RPA has proven to be highly beneficial, its successful implementation depends on a combination of advanced technology and skilled human talent. The review suggests that future research should focus on the development of RPA in combination with Business Process Management to maximize the benefits of automation in business management

Implementation of SAP S4HANA ERP to integrate financial and logistical processes in a Payment Method company

Luis Enrique Acosta Medina, Israel Jorge Becerra Fernandez

Universidad Científica del Sur, Perú

The objective of this research is to analyze how the implementation of the ERP system SAP S/4HANA can effectively integrate the financial and logistics processes at Compañía de Pagos SAC. Through this study, we aim to demonstrate that an ERP like SAP S/4HANA not only optimizes operational times but also allows for better information integration across different departments, enhances user experience, and streamlines monthly financial and logistics closing processes. Key factors such as data integration, the generation of reliable reports, reduced processing times, and efficient information flow between departments significantly impact user satisfaction when using SAP S/4HANA. Data for this research will be collected through questionnaires directed at employees from the finance and logistics departments. Moreover, this study is based on the analysis of four variables that measure the impact of ERP implementation on the organization, yielding quantitative results that highlight the benefits obtained after the implementation.

Keywords-- Integration, SAP S/4 HANA, Finance , Logistic

Background of the use of artificial intelligence in university students in the Dominican Republic

Abdali Ysabel Sánchez1, Francisco Orgaz Agüera2, María Esther Trinidad Domínguez3, Cándida María Domínguez Valerio4

1Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago, UTESA, República Dominicana; 2Universidad Internacional de La Rioja, UNIR, España; 3Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago, UTESA, República Dominicana; 4Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago, UTESA, República Dominicana

The paper analyzes the factors that influence the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in university students in the Dominican Republic, focusing on knowledge about AI, its perceived usefulness, privacy concerns, current use, and future willingness to use it. Based on surveys of students at the Technological University of Santiago, the study uses the PLS-SEM methodology to evaluate the relationships between these factors. The results reveal that knowledge about AI positively influences their perception of usefulness and frequency of use. Furthermore, perceived usefulness is a key predictor of current use and future intention to use it. Although concerns about privacy and security have a minor effect, it is still significant. It is concluded that training in AI and practical exposure is essential for its integration in higher education, recommending institutional policies that promote its responsible and equitable adoption.
