Universidad Privada del Norte - (PE), Perú

Nowadays, the presence of ICT in all areas of society is a reality that companies use to find the specific target market. The tourism sector is no exception; social media branding is a common strategy used by travel agencies or operators to promote the offer of a specific destination.
The present research takes as an object of study the Historic Center of Callao (Peru), in which social networks are managed only to increase the number of visitors and turnover, but they are not concerned with developing a competitive institutional presentation of the heritage site to ensure a differentiated, unique and irreplaceable customer experience. The results show that companies continue to use traditional media to promote the cultural elements of the destination. During the interview with the managers and the observation made to the cultural circuit, it was identified that the exposition of the historical resources in the web page uses an overloaded and impersonal textual communication language. Consequently, the offer is not able to arouse attention, interest, desire and surprise action on customer perceptions, therefore it is suggested to invest more budget in technological equipment, design storytelling and story-doing branding strategies supported by augmented virtual reality to recreate the history of the destination with a dynamic, interactive and lively communication in social networks; so that more people are interested in visiting the place.

The technological disparity between military human resources management and advanced practices in the business sector is highlighted, illustrated by events such as the fire at the FAP Headquarters in 2016, which revealed deficiencies in document and legal management. This research proposes a specific technological intervention to overcome deficiencies in the management of military personnel, seeking to optimize administrative and operational processes in the Special Forces Component of the CEVRAEM, thus contributing to strengthening its efficiency and effectiveness.

Universidad César Vallejo, Perú

The objective of this research work is the implementation of the intelligent management system to improve security in the critical infrastructure of the Colonial Mansions of the Historic Center of Trujillo City, which promotes comprehensive work to promote employment (SDG eight). The approach is basic qualitative with a non-experimental design and descriptive scope. The sample included 33 colonial mansions in poor condition, selected through non-probabilistic and convenience sampling. To collect data, an observation sheet was used, which allowed relevant data to be recorded about each structure. The instrument was a questionnaire based on the Likert scale, which allowed the participants' opinions to be quantified. The results indicate that of the 33 colonial mansions that have been evaluated, the majority have structural damage and have also been built with wood and adobe. The beneficiaries showed acceptance towards the implementation of intelligent management systems such as "Incident Control", "Smart Video Surveillance" and "Alert Notifications", with a percentage greater than 75%. It was concluded that the most accepted system is “Incident Control”, whose implementation combines technology and community participation.

Digital transformation and its impact on the competitiveness of SMEs in the retail sector: A systematic review

Rolando Agustin Lau Guevara, Silvia Rita Rodriguez Alvarez, Jorge Luis Roca Becerra

Universidad Tecnológica del Perú UTP - (PE), Perú

The advance of digitalization is positioned as a determining factor in improving competitiveness in the field of retail, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This analysis explores how the integration of advanced technological tools, such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, the Internet of Things (IoT), e-commerce and other important enterprise information technology tools, in the operational efficiency and market competitiveness of SMEs in the retail sector. Through the PRISMA approach, 21 relevant research published since 2020 in the Scopus database were identified and selected to explore the main challenges, including resistance to change, technology integration costs, and skills gaps. The results obtained underscore substantial advances in areas such as demand estimation and inventory optimization and customer experience thanks to the adoption of omnichannel platforms and predictive models. However, notable gaps persist in blockchain adoption and in aligning business culture with digital strategies. This study offers valuable insights into best practices, success factors and barriers for retail SMEs in transition to digital environments. It is crucial to carry out additional studies that analyze how technology adoption varies according to the particularities of each region. and the long-term sustainability of digital innovations in this sector.

Universidad Tecnológica del Perú UTP - (PE), Perú

Climate change demands sustainable solutions, and the circular economy emerges as key to reducing waste and reusing resources. However, its integration faces gaps in key sectors, highlighting the need for more research to enhance its impact on SDG 13. This paper aims to analyze circular economic strategies implemented in different contexts to reduce carbon footprint and mitigate climate change, exploring their effective contribution to the achievement of SDG 13. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted using the PRISMA guidelines. An initial 354 studies were identified by searching databases such as Springer, Scopus and Science Direct, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 50 relevant studies were selected for analysis. The findings highlight that the most effective strategies include waste management, recycling and reuse. In addition, tools such as life cycle assessment and integration of emerging technologies proved to be fundamental for the implementation of sustainable policies. Finally, it can be concluded that the circular economy is an essential tool for reducing the carbon footprint and advancing global sustainability. This study emphasizes the need to strengthen infrastructure and public-private collaboration to overcome barriers and maximize its impact on climate action

Mindfulness and dispositional optimism, using factor analysis, inferential statistics and information technologies

NICOLE ALISSON TAPARA VERA, SANTIAGO DOMINGO MOQUILLAZA HENRÍQUEZ

Universidad Tecnológica del Perú UTP - (PE), Perú

The research analyzes the relationship between psychosocial risks and dispositional optimism in workers of a call center in Lima. The chi-square results indicated that a high workload and low remuneration negatively affect optimism, while positive social interaction and good organizational management improve it. The exploratory factor analysis (KMO 0.805) allowed the survey items to be reduced based on the strongest items, to improve decision making to improve optimism. The Mindfulness technique was applied, showing that more sessions increase optimism, with a positive correlation and predictive regression. Sentiment analysis was used with the Python language, applied to qualitative questions, identifying the causes that influence optimism, integrating all the information into a business intelligence platform which favors decision making.
