Some Accelerator Experiences from the First ¼ Century of DARHT – A Flash Radiographic Facility Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), Los Alamos, NM The Dual Axis Radiographic Hydrodynamic Test Facility (DARHT) at Los Alamos National Laboratory produces flash radiographs of hydrodynamic experiments using two linear induction accelerators situated on orthogonal axes. DARHT is the nation’s premier experimental facility for certification of the nuclear stockpile. This talk will discuss the accelerators of DARHT with some experiences gained during the first ¼ century of operations. | ||
