Master class - Teaching and working in the cloud with Copernicus products: A hands-on tutorial for learning the usefulness of cloud computation for collaboration and teaching on a study case
| ||
Session Abstract | ||
The proposed Master Class aims to introduce participants to the use of both open access tools for cloud computing and some of the products generated by Copernicus services, sharing also the best practices and experiences learned by presenters on using these tools in their professional practice and for teaching. In this way, the aim is to raise awareness of these tools in order to reimagine educational training and collaboration between different professionals (both those with advanced computer skills and those without) in an increasingly IT-based world. At the same time, the case study presents a simple but powerful hydrological analysis methodology to open the discussion about the impacts of land cover change on the hydrology of some areas during the master class. Participants will be encouraged to comment on the results and processes seen during the session. |
