Suicide Rates as a "Social Thermometer": (Re)thinking Historical Traumas Vilnius university, Lithuania Suicide rates have remaines stable for a very long time in some countries, particularly in Western Europe. Meanwhile, other countries are characterized by very pronounced fluctuations in suicide rates, which coincide with historical turning points in those countries. The presentation will discuss the links between historical trauma and the prevalence of suicide. | ||
