Session Abstract

Rhythmic and Metric Complexity in Jazz

This meeting will feature six lightning talks addressing a variety of theoretical and analytical approaches to rhythmic and metric complexity in jazz. We’ll also announce the winner of the 2023 Award for Excellence in Jazz Scholarship.
