Conference Agenda

The meeting will feature presentations by two composer-theorists, Cynthia Folio (Temple University) and Robert Morris (Eastman School of Music), about connections between composition and theory in their work. After these presentations we will have a business meeting. The main purpose of the meeting will be to discuss our plan to have a concert of live performances of works by SMT composer-theorists at the 2024 SMT meeting, with SMT members as performers. The concert might take place during our 2024 group meeting, or might have a more prominent place in the program, subject of course to the approval of the SMT organizers.
