At the dbl-Kongress 2025, the ‘International BSV Forum’ will take place for the first time - a new format of the Federal Student Representation (BSV) of the dbl, which was specially developed for international exchange. The aim of this forum is to bring together students and interested parties from different countries and offer a platform for networking and knowledge exchange.

In addition to content-related topics, such as multilingualism, it will also focus on speech therapists' experiences abroad, providing valuable insights into the global context of speech therapy. This initiative emerged from the successful International Congress in Paris, organised by the FNEO (Fédération Nationale des Etudiants en Orthophonie) in collaboration with the BSV, will now be continued as part of the dbl-Kongress.

The opening session is the first opportunity to get to know each other and network. Participants can exchange ideas and make new contacts in a relaxed atmosphere. The event will be held in English to facilitate the participation of international students and promote intercultural dialogue.

The BSV is looking forward to jointly organising this new format and further expanding an international network within the speech therapy community.
