The CCRI will not hold a business meeting in Chicago because many of our committee members do not have institutional support for travel, and the cost is prohibitive for them to attend the annual meeting. However, the Committee would like to host an informal brown-bag lunch for anyone attending the AMS meeting who would like to drop in—with or without their lunch—to share suggestions, comments, concerns, etc. about career-related matters. There would be no formal presentations; rather, this would be an opportunity for informal conversations to discuss current issues and to guide CCRI planning for the year to come. This would be the third successful brown bag event for the CCRI since 2022. Previous sessions have been well attended and extremely useful to the committee as a guide for future programming needs.
